I was married for over 30 yrs, I went through a divorce and I am sure my ex-husband moved hundreds of thousands of dollars from our retirement and stocks right before the divorce with the help of his new wife whom was his HR Manager. She help him move money form his account set up through his employer. During the divorce he did sign his statement claiming that he did not move money or assets (committing purgery). I know I will have to get an attorney that will work with an Forensic Accountant and both are very expensive. Is there anything I can work on to save money? Do you highly recommend working with a Forensic Accountant?
I still have time as I have one more year left of satue of limittations. I am surtin this happen as he admitted it to doing this. He doesn’t expext that I will pursue it. I AM NOT ACCUSING him of nothing he did not admit to me after the fact.
